French-born modern dance choreographer Pascal Rioult (ree-you) is known for his daring, imaginative, and unique interpretations of well-known classical compositions. He challenges established, cherished choreographic masterworks (such as Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring" and Ravel's "Bolero") by boldly setting new modern-dance pieces to their classical scores. Stunningly performed by his remarkable ensemble, the effect is riveting and uncompromising.
